MARCH 26, 2011 MYSTERY RIDE into the SASKATCHEWAN FOOTHILLS

Trailering from Saskatoon we unload "within a couple hours" and proceed to ride down some of the most fun trails that we've been on in years! Sorry there is no pictures of us on these trails  for some reason!  We cross a major Saskatchewan river at a long abandoned ferry crossing then ride some nice forest trails to the Saskatchewan Foot Hills. A quick tour thru the Saskatchewan Foot Hills is about all the 121's can take! They are say' in let's get out of here, "stuck allot" that's a fair statement, usually facing up hill, but even on the flat! Just outside of a small town we go for a spin down a river, and play in some valley meadows, nice snow conditions, enough that in some meadows 121's were getting stuck following in other tracks! A real nice 142 mile day, that was as diversified as you could imagine, trails, meadows, river valleys, rivers, forest fringe forest and rural farm land, abandoned railways, small towns, abandoned homesteads, and last but not least our Saskatchewan Foot Hills!
