RIDE'N WITH THE Vintage BOYZ
Feb 11th, 2017

OMG
I don't remember what this is!!

Big aggressive looking MERC!

Chrysler's single Ski, Snow Runner.

Raider twin track.

A nice example of the twin track Raider.

Rear view of the twin track.

Single rider cockpit.

These early sleds were sure had a narrow ski stance.
A beautiful specimen, the Snow Bug some sold out of Marcelin SK.
Clavet Vintage Video #1

This Snow Bug seems to have a lot of Sask Power identification.

Clavet Vintage Video #2

These came in a few flavors, this one a Hus-Ski. The design was not user friendy in rough snow conditions if you valued your lower jaw and teeth.
Clavet Vintage Video #3

Looks like a nice 1972 Charger SS. They were free air like the earlier Charger TX.

Clavet Vintage Video #4

ROLL-O-FLEX's Camaro on snow, the quiet twin pipe 433 SS GT
Clavet Vintage Video #5

The original Snow Hawk.

T
his is the business end of the Arctic Cat 250 Z racer, she's all radiator, not your typical trail sled.

Nicely restored
Smith-Roles 340 distributed right here in Saskatoon, made on order by
ROLL-O-FLEX in Regina.

Nice example of a Scorpion, said to be from New York state.

And to really blow you away this model was ordered with the optional Rotary engine option.

Very Unique.

And if there was an award for coolest OEM upholstery this Scorpion would take her hands down.

Rotary and clutches.

Rotary air intake for cooling.

Rotary view of the "red hot" exhaust guard and muffler.

Long before the ET 250, Moto Ski had the Mini Ski.

Chaparral I believe that this brand was born when a group of engineers walked away from Polaris.

A classic "Ski Bee" originally
manufactured in Lanigan SK.

Even a cup holder for those "extra cold" outings. Thank goodness they only went 5mph or 5 miles before it was time for repairs and a walk home.

Another Smith-Roles, this one a nicely restored 440 hot rod.

Snow Pony, one of the small ones suitable for kids.

Here we have some old iron chassis updated with some pretty snappy later model engines.

Big pipe comes to mind when you see it sitt'in right out there. Nice to see the installation followed up with a belt guard.

A real nice example of an early Yamaha racer SR 433C.

SIGHTSEEING is one thing, but are you fit enough to participate  in a cross country snowmobile ride?

ONLY in SASKATCHEWAN!
