January 2007 Little Bear Lake back to Macdowall Day Two 07-07

  A nice casual ride to Little Bear Resort......."heck we'll be there in 5 or 6 hours!"    Oh yea, ......it's all good........fine riding for those who have rode a couple times in the last 20 years!.....Maybe not such a fine ride if you hadn't rode in 20 years!

 

1)After a great breakfast at the Honey Pot Restaurant we are ready to rumble.

 

2) Stopping just a couple of Km's out of Little Bear we enjoy the morning sun as it climbs in the sky.

3) Hmmmm, why would all the snow and hoarfrost be knocked off those trees.........without mentioning any names, it looks ultra embarrassing!

4) This is where we're headed.

 


 5) Man if we only had another day up here to check out some of these extra trails leading off to some where!

 

9) Ok now it's time to get the maps out.

12)SW of Candle Lake we meet up a couple local good old boys who lead us south to North Side on a back road.
