 Man one of those
"Nice
Sunny Days"

A Newbie is getting her sea legs on...

...a small water body next to the truck.

This is our '16 project sled our

SXT 700
I have made a number of changes and this is a shake down.

A small WATER BODY like this is perfect...as long as you stay away from a couple fast moving spots!

OK it is time to head down part of the original Carlton Trail.

We stop back at the truck to switch sleds and adjust our gear.

Wow I can hardly believe this tree is still hanging over the fence line in the Carlton Trail grid!

11-07

Way we go thru the Cat tails.

Hand signals are essential.

And a friendly Wave to folks who likely live in the area.

I am ducking for another pesky
Tree hanging over the fence
!

A little Ditch riding is there a term "Hang Ten" used in surfing that would apply to this? I am thinking YAHOO !

We ride up to McFarlane Creek, and find the creek just about empty! road.
Man were we at the right place? The creek was so empty it makes me wonder.

On our way back you can see our riders maneuver thru a completely destroyed section of the original Carlton Trail. Destroyed by summer ATV traffic because the area is low and soft.

Ok we get loaded up with BBQ supplies and we head for the lake.

We pull out and ditch it for a few miles.

Seems like it has been for ever since...
...we have been at Lobstick
Cabin.

Here is is a snap of my solo spin.

I go for a spin looking for the rest of our group on Lobstick Lake.

A little flick of the flipper, stands her up on one ski, while I bring the Red Head up to temperature.

I am crossing the lake from the SE shore to the SW area.

Across I am pushing our  BLUE MAX hard in the curves surrounding these small lakes.

Easily lifting a ski at speed, the brand new DUALLY CARBIDES are cutting a spray of snow thru the air!

Yahoo! Are those carbides cutting in deep!

I am running up next to the shore tree line...

...up against the shore line I go by buddy on the Renegade.

Circling around, looking for the exit to the middle lake I am pulling with all I've got with both hands on the right hand grip.

Accelerating out of the reeds...

...I think it is time to grab both sides of the bars!

I go past a beaver house looking thru the trees for the next lake.

Some very short "beaver stumps" in there, just enough to catch a radius rod and inflict a lot of damage.

I head for the north end of the middle lake.

I go buy the second...

...beaver house, did you see it?

I am looking for the...

...exit to the third lake.
